Biography
David J. Bobb, Ph.D., is President of the Bill of Rights Institute, a national nonprofit dedicated to educating students and teachers about the founding documents of the United States. Under his leadership the Institute has become one of the most respected civic education organizations in the country.
Formerly, Dr. Bobb was the founding director of two national centers for Hillsdale College: the Washington, D.C.-based Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship, and the Hoogland Center for Teacher Excellence. In these roles he built nationally recognized programs in constitutional scholarship and civic education.
A contributing editor to The U.S. Constitution: A Reader, Dr. Bobb has written for the Wall Street Journal, Washington Times, Fast Company, and the Claremont Review of Books.
